Even though there’s clearly a resolution drawback of the iPhone 3GS, I think the two versions manage to look pretty similar anyway. I just have to work some on the text colors. It seems that the same color codes doesn’t provide the same visual colors on the screen. Maybe it’s the old “Mac -> PC” gamma differences that’s talking?
Or maybe I should show them in their native resolutions instead. Just to be able to bash once more about the low resolution of the iPhone 3GS. Thank god Apple finally realized they were behind and released the Retina for the iPhone 4.
really enjoying the progress reports. once the iphone app is done, will that be easily transferable to the ipad?
if you need any volunteers for testers, I’d be glad to help. i’ve got a device for each… (even iPod Touch 2G)
As soon as we are done with the iPhone-version of RummyFight, we will start working on a separate PAD-version of the game too for both Android and iPad. This version will look quite different to take advantage of the larger screen size. However in the mean time, the iPhone version should be able to be played on the iPad and iPod too.
cool… just curious as to an ETA – got at least 5 or 6 people I would like to gift it to….
My user is USAF_Aaron and i love RF! My wife has an ipad 2 and my three older sons have itouchs v 3 and 4. Would love to beta test for u on the devices listed above. Cant wait to play my wife tablet to ipad.
When will the iPhone version be available for download? I use the android version, on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and it looks fine. But it´s my iPhone that I carry with me. And there´s no way I can skip playing while on the run… 🙂 so I´m really looking forward to the iPhone version… By the way, what will be different in the PAD versions?
There’s really no way for us to give a release date yet. So far the progress is looking good but there are still much work left to be done and I don’t have unlimited time on my hands (working full time at my work during the days). But hopefully there will be a first release in the beginning of june.
The Pad-version is something we will begin working with immediately after the iPhone-version. What will be different in that version is yet to be seen. Of course there will be higher resolution graphics but we also have some ideas about the interface. We’ll see what we will come up with.
The iphone version is not so far away then! :-)) Thx for all your effort, love this game!
great progress!
will the release of apps be the same as with android? i.e. free version with ads and an ad-free paid version? also, will the iPhone version be playable on the iPad?
We will initially release the paid version only but within a week or two after that, we believe we will have the ad version available too. The idea is to have them both but the focus is now to get the full version working and then begin the work of stripping down for the free one.
The iPhone version should work on iPad and iPod Touch too unless we screw up 😉
